A welcome return of acclaimed singer song writer Jim Cozens to our Online Music club. A classic singer songwriter and story teller, his songs are personal, universal, joyful and moving. In a long, eclectic career he’s written songs for other artists, music for radio, television and movie productions and, once upon a time, survived the Eurovision circus. He studied at the college of Lennon and McCartney and has a first class honours degree in James Taylor. After many years behind the scenes he recently began performing his original material in public and audiences warmed immediately to his songs and the stories that inhabit them. This renaissance has supercharged his songwriting. The new album; About Love, is his best work yet, recorded in collaboration with many of the wonderful writers and musicians that share the vibrant music scene in Surrey and Hampshire. It’s filled with infectious tunes and optimism.
