"Something Out of Nothing is the second studio album from Salisbury-based folk duo, Antoine & Owena. The album is a mix of traditional and original folks and provides a feast for the ears, the heart and the feet. The songs tell stories from the past and the present, drawing influence from historical and recent events, people and situations to create an eclectic album with something for everyone. Antoine and Owena combine their vocals harmonies, together with bouzouki, guitar and fiddle to create a traditional folk sound that is complimented by more contemporary songwriting. The traditional numbers are given a new lease of life, whilst their own compositions take the listener on a journey, exploring history, society, love, tragedy, humour and everything in-between. With some additional accompaniment provided in the form of percussion and bass guitar to add some flavour to some tracks, this 10-track album delivers a good mix of uptempo and slower, more reflective songs to keep the listener entertained throughout. The duo released a single from the album in November 2019 entitled "Botany Bay", which received positive reviews and reached number 1 in the Amazon Folk Best Sellers Chart.
