Gig Diary – This Week 1978
On the 13th January 1978 I saw Motorhead for the fourth time at Brunel University, Uxbridge. It was the height of Punk Rock in the UK at the time so with our long hair, leather jackets and torn jeans me and my small group of friends were musical outcasts at the time, so going to see Motorhead was a chance to meet up with like minded people.
We were real fans and would spend weekends trawling through Antique Shops and making our own bullet belts and hanging around Portobello market as we knew this was where the band hung out and we got to meet them several times. Support band on the night were Winder and tickets were £1.20.
