Songs from the Sea is an exciting new show aimed at Arts venue’s and Theatres featuring rocking five piece sea shanty band The Salts and more acts to be confirmed. Featuring classic songs that we all know and love including Bound for South Australia, Blow the Man Down, Drunken Sailor and many more, as well as well crafted original tunes, this will be a great night with cross appeal to all age groups.  We are delighted to announce the Broadside Boys will be performing as part of Songs from the Sea at Wilton’s Music Hall, London on Wednesday 26th July at 8pm alongside The Salts. The Broadside Boys from Suffolk are currently on a nationwide tour supporting Richard Digance.

Following the success of last year’s event the Night of the Guitar returns featuring Dale Harris and guests.  Dale Harris (BA, MA, PhD) is a professional musician, a Doctor Of Musicology, and a classical & electric guitarist based and in London, UK & Europe. He has played solo classical guitar recitals, performed concerti with orchestra and accompanied music industry legends such as Cliff Richard and Lorne Gibson. 2017 Began with Dale Harris winning the GSMC award for Instrumental Musician Of The Year. He will be joined on the night by Rory Evans and Steve Savory.

Individually The Salts, fronted by twice BBC Young Folk Finalist Lee Collinson-James, have circumnavigated the Commonwealth with tours of Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, India, Singapore and Hong Kong

John Cee Stannard  formed Blues Horizon featuring  Mike Baker, guitar, and Howard Birchmore, harmonica after launching “The  Doob Doo Album” and have been playing together since our first gig at the Henley Jazz & Blues festival in November 2013.Their first album as a trio was “Bus Depot Blues” followed by  ”Stone Cold Sober”  which was launched in August 2015.
