It seems like George Wilding is the full package, the eloquence of the lyrics now matched by the elegance of the production, the heart and soul of the songs now taken to their illogical conclusions by the musical bed they are served up on. And that voice…sincere, committed and where necessary stop-you-in-your-tracks intense.

Spriggan Mist

One of the most popular and hard working bands around no one can really describe the music of Spriggan Mist. Based on old tales, spiritual pathways, dreams and reality they drift from folky floating tunes with guitar and low D whistles to a guitar driven rock song with energy to make you jump. With their love of all things Steam Punk they have a joyous element which brings in to play The Polyphemus Air Ship and of course their amazing dancing Spriggan, Sebastian. Support comes from the amazing Victor and the Bully who use a ‘carnival blend’ of live ukulele and acoustic guitar with a twist of orchestral instruments to provide a very theatrical and cabaret-like sound. Inspired by steampunk, swing, mariachi, classical , electro-swing and punk to bring a very different vibe

Much to talk about the background and embryo of each song..  some of which will be performed as all of us remember..  and some, carefully and intuitively re-voiced - respectfully re-interpreted with rich, balanced guitar arrangements and a more personal vocal approach.

There is a huge amount of insight into the history and the spirit of Cat Stevens; his early pop career, his illness that changed him existentially and spiritually into an incredibly thoughtful and loving singer songwriter; such that his songs are remembered instantly for there uplifting sense of truth, promise and human fragility. Much to talk about the background and embryo of each song..  some of which will be performed as all of us remember..  and some, carefully and intuitively re-voiced - respectfully re-interpreted with rich, balanced guitar arrangements and a more personal vocal approach.

At 18, whilst studying at The London College of Music, Marky Dawson started working as a resident musician in bars and clubs. It's here he developed his fast and wild Rock n Roll style piano playing skills along with his ability to interact with an audience. Taking requests and heckles, becoming an experienced showman. He mixes his versions of classics with his own catchy songs and some jokes. You will be entertained with the intimacy of a blues club, the performance of stadium act quality, and the fun of the pub. Remarkyble.
