Get Ready

Get Ready are essentially a mod band, embracing the style and music of the modernism era and culture. Playing classic songs from the 'style' decade of the 1960s, as well as some floor stomping Northern soul, we are a mod band with a difference. Get Ready play songs that influenced and are ingrained in the mod psyche. If you love the 'swinging 60s' music, clothes and style, then get ready for Get Ready.

With their love of all things Steam Punk they have a joyous element which brings in to play The Polyphemus Air Ship and of course their amazing dancing Spriggan, Sebastian. The Steve Summers Band

The Steve Summers’ Band's musical philosophy is well summed up by the title of their critically acclaimed first album Lookin’ Back, Movin’ on, which points to a great respect and love of the blues, but exposes other influences in the strong original song-writing. With the music rooted firmly in the blues-rock tradition, the band fits well into the genre following in the footsteps of Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Led Zeppelin, Joe Bonamassa , Rory Gallagher and Taste. With the new album Rainmakin’, the band unveils 7 brand new songs, including the single Second Hand Blues, while producing well-crafted covers of great songs by Stevie Ray Vaughn, Albert Collins, Robin Trower and even Steely Dan.

Spriggan Mist

Spriggan Mist, one of the most popular and hard working bands in the area, no one can really describe the music of Spriggan Mist. Based on old tales, spiritual pathways, dreams and reality they drift from folky floating tunes with guitar and low D whistles to a guitar driven rock song with energy to make you jump. With their love of all things Steam Punk they have a joyous element which brings in to play The Polyphemus Air Ship and of course their amazing dancing Spriggan, Sebastian. Promoting their long awaited fifth album.

John Otway

25 years later, he was back on Top ofThe Pops with the wonderful disco pastiche, ‘Bunsen Burner’ and back in the charts as a birthday present from his adoring and patient fans. But that, of course, was not enough. A couple of years ago John realised that live footage from the many concerts over the years, plus many TV appearances - and a failed world tour attempt - would make an entertaining documentary film. So he made one. Initially expecting a couple of humble screenings for fans, the film premiered at the Odeon, Leicester Square, was shown at Cannes - and at prestigious UK film Festivals. Expect madcap mayhem and some scintillating stunts from a man old enough to know better…..and also to be surprised at just what a showman and musician really lies underneath the tomfoolery.
